How do I love Evelyn Clark's patterns? let me count the ways ...
I got two skeins of Fleece Artist Basic Merino Sock with the idea of making a shawl. This is the beginning of her Shetland Triangle from Wrap Style , treated myself to a set of these:
yup, Addi Lace needles - and I've got to say, there's something quite wonderful about them ... the points are perfectly sharp with a touch of a scoop at the ends, and they're lighter than the Knit Picks Options (whose points are even pointer - enough to insert accidentally into one fingertip!) and slightly "grabby" - just enough to keep the yarn from sliding off of them.
I think I'm going to knit this until I've run out of the yarn - may take quite a while, since I've got a lot of it.
Very nice, as usual. I am finally using all the Sea-Silk that I wound up with when I thought that I did not have enough for the Swallowtail Shawl. I decided on the Shoulder Shawl in Syrian pattern from VLT. I am using the Knitpicks lace kneedles because my new Addis are in a Round Feather and Fan, now pushed aside. I like them both. It was the picture of the shawl on the Knitpicks ad that finally made up my mind about the Sea-Silk, after frogging at least four other patterns with the stuff. This is turning out perfectly, and of course, it makes me think of your little shop and our visit. Bev

Lovely Margaret. I am glad I visited. Makes me feel a little better seeing your lovely green lace.
I must get some of those Addi lace needles. They look great.
