I had to make an executive decision with regard to where to end the top of the sweater. Would it be the solid lines in between the squares? Or would it be the middle of the squares so that they could "sit" comfortably on my shoulders?
As I was pondering, I decided that the squares should be completed and a solid line should separate them:
and I was so happy that I got to that point:
and then I was taking a few more pix of the squares just so I could have a record, and I noticed this:
what? you don't see anything wrong? but you're on a galloping horse and I'm just sitting at my kitchen table under my trusty Ott-lite. Some (or rather, ALL) of the other square motifs look
so I have to take it back down to the offending missed row.
Stay tuned for a repeat performance.

Gorgeous sweater and congrats one winning Cara's Classic Cotton. I am doing the miters with Elann's Sonata and it looks great too.

Wow this is fun! I love seeing how your colors combined and how differently your sweater looks from mine!
I had an issue similar to yours and I had done about 3 pattern repeats when I noticed my mistake. I completely frogged back. I'm happy I did but as everything in life, it is personal preference.
Are you also doing Starmore's Mardi Gras? Is that the photo up in the far right corner of your blog? That is on my future "to do" list.

Oh - it looks great, and so good you saw the missing row now.
I'm looking forward to see your finished cardi :)

I still don't see it, and I am laying in bed, suffering mightily from plant rashes and paying lots of attention. You are too good!

Sorry you have to frog - but oh my! What gorgeous colors!

Yeah, you're right. It would haunt me every time I looked at it- so best to frog.
At least you made an executive decision on the shoulders, and you can do it again.

Bummer and I'd do the same thing. Guess it will be just a little bit longer before you wear it. At least the weather's cooling off again :-)

You're making really good progress. I've only wound up one of the skeins so far. Your cardigan is looking very pretty!
